Institutes in Singapore are EduTrust Certified. The EduTrust Certification Scheme (EduTrust) is a quality assurance framework administered by the Council for Private Education (CPE). It ensures that private institutions maintain high educational standards and continuously improve their programs, leading to positive student outcomes.


Do I need a student visa for Singapore and how do I apply for it?

Yes, international students require a Student Visa to study in Singapore. The application process is done online after receiving an offer letter from the institution.


Can international students at local universities or polytechnics work part-time during the term?

Yes, international students can work without a work pass if they meet the following conditions:

  • They are full-time matriculated or registered students in one of the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) approved institutions.
  • They hold a Student Pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
  • They can work up to 16 hours per week during term time under an industrial attachment program, which may be either compulsory or elective, provided it contributes to their graduation requirements.

However, international students enrolled in Foreign University Campuses or Private Education Institutes are not allowed to work part-time while studying.


Can International students work during vacation without a work pass?

Yes, international students can work without a work pass during vacations if they:

  • Are full-time matriculated or registered students in one of the approved institutions.
  • Hold a Student Pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
